The climate issue is the new and improved drive for socialism. Sam Congar posted a graph that speaks volumes to the real issue of climate change. The climate is fluid, it fluctuates based on many drivers, the activity of the sun being among the largest driver. The climate folks aren't interested in that. All they are interested in is taking away one's liberty and enslaving as many people as possible. Our illustrious freak show a of president and congress are right in there amoung them.

of course they would counter that just because THEY act inappropriately doesn't mean that the climate is not in crisis. This is logically correct--either there is anthroprogenic global warming or there isn't; the actions of the "true believers" having the equivalent of temple prostitutes (no kidding, did you see that in Der Spiegel?) does nothing for or against the validity of their claims.

It SHOULD, however, put these creeps, including Gore, in a bind. If they are right and people are destroying the planet, these people should immediately be imprisoned for accessory to genocide. If they are wrong, of course, then they should be ignored.
