Obama is not a brown-skinned anti-war socialist who gives away free healthcare. You're thinking of Jesus. - "Pastor" John Fugelsan

Re: confusion
And here I was under the impression that Jesus taught personal responsibility.

Re: confusion
How are God and Obama different? God does not think that he is Obama.

Ziggy,
That quote has been the subject of some facebook battles. Jesus' followers lived in common but it was their choice to do so. He also did not tell the centurion to quit his job.

Re: confusion
He probably did have dark skin, however, so you're at least one for three. He also gave free healthcare but I don't recall His calls for Rome to do so. Obama, of course, has never offered free health care to anyone, unless somehow he has a medical degree I'm not aware of.

Re: confusion
He is the great physician, which Obama is not.
Lost in the battle between free market types and those who favor socialized medicine, I believe, is the welfare of doctors. I fear more a shortage of doctors from all of this than I fear a more encroaching government, although I fear both. I think fewer people are going to be willing to go into medicine, an already tough field as it is, when the money is gone.
Right now I have graduating students asking me if the 80K in debt they have incurred is worth it. Treble that for a physician in socialized medicine, and there will be no answer.
