The left is out of touch with the American people on illegal immigration.

A CBS News/New York Times Poll this week found only 36 percent of Americans oppose the Arizona law. Not only do most people support it, 9 percent believe the new law does not go far enough.

I don't know if that 36 percent of Americans who oppose the Arizona law includes Shakira, a Colombian-born singer who now resides in the Bahamas.

She seems to think so. She traveled to Phoenix and held a press conference where she denounced the Arizona law as "un-American."
