Why? I suspect it's because we "fools" prod you to think about what you think about. And that can hurt.

I was an agnostic when I grew up and when I attended college, so there is little I haven't already thought about.

What irritates me is when people make a halfwitted reply or disagree and then lack can't or won't stand up to their reply when questioned or explain why they disagree.
