Antarctic sea ice set another record this past week, with the most amount of ice ever recorded on day 256 of the calendar year (September 12 of this leap year). Please, nobody tell the mainstream media or they might have to retract some stories and admit they are misrepresenting scientific data.

But, but, but ...... this Arctic melting is a positive proof of Global Warming climate change, to wit:

New sea ice is finally starting to form again in the Arctic, scientists reported Wednesday, but not before reaching another record low last Sunday.

"We are now in uncharted territory," Mark Serreze, director of the National Snow and Ice Data Center, said in a statement announcing the record low of 1.32 million square miles -- nearly half the average extent from 1979 to 2010

and your cited Antarctica freezing is just a local weather event,

and besides, Antarctica is not part of the globe, so whatever happens there don't count for anything.

I don't know what became of TerryRC, but there can be no doubt that AGW is a game of "heads I win, tails you lose." Whatever happens, and wherever it happens, it proves climate change, and annoyingly, it somehow proves that man caused said climate change.

We could all be living in an arctic tundra and there would be some Beavis suggesting that if we do not give up out SUV's, the globe is going to warm.

It matters not, who publishes what, when both the publisher’s employees and the majority of the populace is intellectually deficient and/or miseducated on matters of actual factual science. The aforesaid relegates all public discourse on matter of climate change and/or global warming to one of “preferred religious belief”.

The fact that many within the scientific community are not “telling all the facts” and/or are only “telling half truths” only serve to exacerbate the aforesaid public discourse between opposing groups of “preferred religion” believers.

The literal truth is that all claims and/or assertions that increases in atmospheric CO2 ppm is responsible for the near-surface temperature increases of Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) has no basis or credible evidence that is supported by factual science or mathematics. And one does not have to be educated in any particular branch of science to figure out and/or prove the above stated “literal truth”.

As a matter of fact, all one requires is an ability to read, a little common sense, a smidgen of reasoning ability, a basic knowledge of simple math and the “claims” of the AGW proponents themselves to determine said “literal truth”.

To wit:

1. “greenhouse gases” trap thermal (IR) energy thus causing increases in temperatures.

2. increases in temperature are the product of radiative forcing and feedbacks.

3. atmospheric CO2 is a “greenhouse gas” that traps thermal (IR) energy.

4. atmospheric H2O vapor is a “greenhouse gas” that traps thermal (IR) energy.

5. H2O vapor is the most important “greenhouse gas” in the atmosphere.

6. atmospheric H2O vapor can “trap” 2.3 times more thermal (IR) energy than CO2

7. currently, there is on average 100 times greater quantity of atmospheric H2O vapor than CO2.

8. atmospheric CO2 ppm has increased by 100+- ppm during the past 100+- years.

9. atmospheric H2O vapor is constantly changing but with an overall average of 20,000 ppm

10. atmospheric H2O vapor can increase by 30,000+ ppm in a 24 hour period.

11. atmospheric H2O vapor in tropical humid areas can exceed 40,000 ppm.

12. proponents of AGW claim said 100 ppm CO2 increase has caused a 1.0 °F temp increase

13. said 1.0 °F temp increase is the product of CO2 radiative forcing and feedback.

14. proponents of AGW claim there is “uncertainty” associated with H2O vapor radiative forcing and feedback.

15. apparently because of said “uncertainty” associated with H2O vapor, proponents of AGW refuse to acknowledge or address the temperature increases that are directly attributable to increases in H2O vapor.

16. due to the fact that the proponents of AGW have intentionally been excluding all temperature increases attributable to increases in H2O vapor ppm via their guise of “uncertainty”, ….. while attributing all temperature increases to the increase in CO2 ppm, …. relegates their claim of CO2 causing AGW to Junk Science status and thus little more than a “flim-flam scam” of gigantic proportions.

The “proof is in the pudding”:

1. if 100 ppm of CO2 will cause a 1.0 °F temperature increase

2. then 100 ppm of H2O vapor will cause a 2.3 °F temperature increase

3. and if, on a bright Sunny July day, the H2O vapor ppm increased by 25,000 ppm, which is not out of the ordinary, then according to the AGW claims, the temperature would increase by 575 °F. 25,000/100 = 250 …. 250 x 2.3 = 575

And lord knows it gets really hot n’ sweaty if your talking a tropical 40,000 ppm of H20 vapor. At 4% its pretty close to being precipitation
