Well, he, his family and that scroungy looking dog that Ted Kennedy gave him haven't had a vacation in three weeks (he has had 36 in 5 years!). Michelle goes a week early. He joins them. And, then they send for the dog on a separate flight. (Muslims don't want to get killed in an accidental airplane crash with a dog on board.
