I am mystified at Clinton--one moment a strong post-femininity figure (as with the mace) and at another teary and motherly.
I think that the tears are a bit dishonest, or motivated more by losing than by actual concern for the country, but I don't support her because of the issues she espouses rather than her duplicity. That is, I'd have to go over a lot of bad ideas that she has just to get to not voting for her for her dishonesty.

I watched her on GMA this morning and Diane Sawyer ask her about the tears and she talked about how 'personal' this was for her.
Now flash back to the debate Saturday night towards the end when Edwards talking about his work for the middle class (which is new for him even though he said he's done it all his life) talking about how 'personal' this fight was for those that cared but how for the old guard it was politics as usual.
