Tricky Canucks

Since Canada is farming out its neonatal responsibilities to the U.S. in spite of its dandy nationalized health system, does that mean that little Canuck babies born in U.S. hospitals are eligible for U.S. citizenship? Imagine: a demographic invasion. In a generation or two we'll all be washing our back bacon down with a LaBatt's, watching hockey, and ending every sentence with an "eh?".

They are citizens if they are born here. Not long ago I was watching a report about this on CNN and many of the parents are tickled pink that their children have dual citizenship.

Hey hoser, get me homeland security, eh?

When will we deal with the problem of illegal Canadians? What will we do when they try to enter the country illegally en masse? Will they seek sanctuary in churches or in hockey stadiums? Will they do jobs that Americans don't want to do, like Accounting or Law?

Take off, eh? How about those Canadiens?
