Ads seek WVU grads as clients for lawsuit

Two Charleston lawyers are trying to drum up clients for a class-action lawsuit against West Virginia University, arguing degrees from the school are now less valuable.
The law firm run by Greg Chiartas and Bruce Freeman began running newspaper ads this week and will publish them again this weekend, while students are graduating in Morgantown.
Students, faculty, alumni and donors have been embarrassed and outraged by a master's degree scandal involving Mylan Inc. executive Heather Bresch, who is the daughter of Gov. Joe Manchin and a longtime friend of school President Mike Garrison.
