Dems and other naysayers against the war should not despair--maybe we will be hit my a WMD attack, then they will have something else to crow about.
Al Qaeda web sites are making a lot of noise about "why we lost in Iraq." Western intelligence agencies are fascinated by the statistics being posted in several of these Arab language sites. Not the kind of stuff you read about in the Western media.

I never cared for how this war was being pursued, and I don't now. (I wasn't in the least opposed to bombing Hussein until we got him, but the land war is moronic, particularly in how it's being handled)
Nevertheless, the Dems have put themselves in the unenviable position of being tied to bad news in Iraq. The better the war goes, the worse they look.

They have a vested interest in it turning very badly over the next 5 months. One could argue that November hinges on it.
