It is 3 metres long, seats four comfortably or five at a squeeze, does 65mph and aims to revolutionize travel for millions. The “People’s Car” is also the cheapest in the world at 100,000 rupees ($2,000) – the same price as the DVD player in a Lexus.

My questions is, "What would I wear on my left foot?" (I'd have to be surgically removed from that thing.)

Well, I don't guess it would be very comfortable trying to haul 3 or 4 fat kids to school in, ........ but I told the wife if she had one of them it wouldn't be costing her $32.40/week (2 gal/day @ $3.24) to drive that 20 miles to work and then back.

Driving a Nano, getting 50 mpg, would only cost her $12.96/week, a savings of $19.44/week.

And, 200 School days @ 8,000 miles equals 400 gallons of gas costing her $1,296.00 in her current car, ...... but would only cost her $518.40 if driving a Nano, a savings of $777.60 per school year.
