Gasoline Prices
In July, 2006 gas prices hovered near, and in some cases exceed $3.00/gallon. By November, 2006 prices had dropped back to below $2.20/gallon, gas prices were no longer the lead story on the news and Democrats won the house and senate.
After hitting record prices this summer, oil is once again on the decline as is gas prices. I'll predict that by November, those prices will be below $3.00/barrel, democrats will once again reap the benefits and by spring, prices will be soaring again.
And to think, there are those who think oil is a Republican only game.

Re: Gasoline Prices
I don't think you meant "$3.00/barrel".
But your point is exactly right. Obama is running commercials that say he will lower gas prices. His intention is anything but. He aims to raise gas prices. I'd be okay with that course of action if he was just open about it. I don't have a problem with a guy saying he wants to wean us off cheap gasoline to spark interest in a new technology. But that is not what he is leading us to believe.

He can't tell the truth Jimmy. The proles would never elect him.
And yes, I meant $3.00/gallon.
