Reagan comments hurt Obama...

Right up till the final couple days Obama was soaring in Nevada.

Then he came off with this crazy statement lauding Ronald Reagan.

Here he is counting on the Union vote to carry him thru, and he comes out praising the most anti-union leader in modern times.

Go figure.

And I bet this stampede of Democrat office-holders coming out for Obama is over.

That was not a smart strategy in a Democrat Primary.

(or even in the General, for that matter).

I disagree. I think if he makes it to a general election, it will end up helping him. Haven't you heard of Reagan Democrats Sherm!!!

I agree with Aaron. Obama's leftist credentials from his voting record are apparent; why not try to appeal to swing voters and moderate democrats? It's just practical.

Now I don't think that Obama will be any more centrist than Hillary when it comes to the social issues that I care most about, but the remarks he has made about abortion and Reagan both make me loathe him less than Clinton, and perhaps it might make a moderate voter choose him over Clinton.

Me thinks Hillary's "flip-flop" stance on illegal immigrants ....... earned her the "win" in the Nevada voting.

So don't be kidding yourself ...... by thinking it was anything else.
