Well they have a big demand for space on the Campaign plane.

Why should these guys get to stay on the plane instead of other reporters who want a turn?

Why not spread it around?

Especially since they are not objective in their coverage.

They have a right to freedom of the press, but they dont have a right to be flown around all over the country by the very persons they are lambasting in their columns.

Heck that would be like me flying around all over the country and giving Stephanie and Sam front row streets to take notes and write bad stuff about me.

Heck I would pick someone else who liked me better wouldnt you?

You may have missed this (from the same story):

"This feels like the journalistic equivalent of redistributing the wealth. We spent hundreds of thousands of dollars covering Senator Obama's campaign, traveling on his plane, and taking our turn in the reporters' pool, only to have our seat given away to someone else in the last days of the campaign," said Washington Times Executive Editor John Solomon.
