Vice President Joe Biden acknowledged Friday that Democrats could face political repercussions in 2010 for their support of the economic stimulus package, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Would you get on a jet, if there was a 30% chance you will crash? (Even if Sully Sullenberger is the pilot!) See, this is what happens when you elect a POTUS because he is black and has a good voice!

This bill's only a few hundred billion more then our former white, bad speaking President signed Armon.

I don't think it's the race or even the party anymore. It's the socialist, entitlement mentality that we've got to break and I fear we've gone past the point of no return on that.

Ya know, I may well be about the only guy in America to think this (and surely one of the only guys on the right), but the more I hear from this Biden fellow, the more I like him.

"Stimulus package" or not, if the economy is broadly perceived to be significantly worse by election day in 2010, Democrats may likely face political repercussions.

Especially if him and his republican cohorts in congress were obstructing the democrats from rescuing the passengers?

Can you give a list of specific polices George W. Bush personally enacted that directly led to our current economic situation.

I've got a hundred bucks that says you can't come up with more then one that doesn't involve your party as well.

I disagree. (First time for everything ya know:)

I think the Republicans ruled so very incompetently and so abandoned conservative principles in spending (and failed to stand up for other principles as well), and ran such a lousy campaign for President in 2008, that the public by and large has no use for them. The only way that the Republicans are going to win in 2010 is if they manage to grow a spine and manage to craft an appealing message. I think Steele is the guy to lead them, but I'd be more than just a little bit surprised if he can work with the group.

I predict (and, of course, would like to be wrong) that Republican gains in 2010 will be marginal at best.

I want to get back to this Biden guy. I mean sincerely that I like him. He's realistic. We face foreign threats, the President is yet untested, and even if they do "everything right" it still may not help.

I find his honesty altogether refreshing. Yes he's been full of it in the past, and I'm sure he'll lie to us again, but when he admits the possibility of failure it makes me respect him more, not less.

And I will never vote for him and his, but I have to give credit where it is due.

As much as I disagree with him, I have always found Biden to be a likeable sort of guy.

Well, for one thing, Aaron thinks that she has great thighs. And multiply that by all the Aarons in America and you start to get a picture .................................

You believe that she's not attractive, and I agree.

But there are more than one Aaron in America. And at some point it is longer freakish. When it comes to our human foibles- the freaks can eventually become the typical Joes and Janes. And Joes and Janes vote.

Political positions on issues that I deem relevant at that point in time are the ONLY guide on who I do and do not support.

I'm not you Ziggy. I don't have my mind made up before I consider an issue or politician and try to conform them to my point of view. I look at all sides and then make a logical, common sense decision.

I'm sure there are some folks who vote for people they find physically attractive, but have you taken a good look at the folks in the House & the Senate? How about some of our Presidents? Holy Crap! Bill Clinton has a nose that looks like what he thinks with. Richard Nixon....YIKES!!!! I don't think even his mother thought he was good looking.
