Alternate Memorial Day Service activities?

Are my fellow Atheisolsticysts planning any alternate services or activities that I might attend?

Stop by and we'll let you grill a hot dog on our grill, General.

But if you are a vegetarian, you'll need to bring your own tofu weiners and vegetarian chili.

Either way, you are welcome to partake of our (non-organic) mustard and ketchup and onions.

This has been a fantastic day for the Sheik. I've seen dear friends, butchered the game of tennis, and even worked a few hours doing osmething I love.

I even had a hot dog for the first time, literally, in 3 years.

A friend of mine lives next door to a Jehovah's Witness. My friend asked if his neighbor was going to the Memorial Day parade. The neighbor was very off put, declaring that he would not go out and celebrate war. My friend replied something to the effect that no one ever "celebrates" war, and that just hacked off the neighbor even worse.

So I suppose turnabout is fair play. It's about time someone began hacking off the folks who wake you up on Saturday morning.

We did a little gardening and cooked hamburgers and sausage patties on the grill. The only members of this family who eat hotdogs are our dogs. lol I buy them on sale as dog treats. LOL

It will be another 3 years before I have another hot dog, I reckon, but what they used was decent enough.

Alas it is back to the salt mines today!
