Jobless Recovery? Empty Re: Jobless Recovery?

The really scary part of this whole affair is that a good majority of the baffoons in congress go right along with this. What is even worse, is that republicans are right in there with the democrats. Even worse still is that a vocal minority of people are stupid enough to follow along like little puppies and a silent majority fo folks never say a word.

How so Cato? No House Republican voted for the stimulus package and of the 3 Republican Senators, one switched parties.

And on the health car bill, I believe 16 house Republicans supported the bill. It has yet to come to a vote in the Senate but thus far, no Republican Senator has shown any support for a public option. The closest is Olympia Snowe and she requires a trigger to get there.

I believe a small percentage of liberals are trying to take us to socialism. What I don't agree with is the majority is staying silent. 10,000 showed up in Washington to protest the health care public options and Tea Parties have drawn millions all over the country.

So what Republicans are right in there with the Democrats?

Glenn Beck has been repeatedly hammering his audience about the "Cloward and Piven strategy". I don't know where anybody but sam cogar stands on Glenn Beck and I'm not much on conspiracy theories but I can tell you that Cloward did this work in conjunction with the old Welfare Reform Now which morphed into ACORN. ACORN is a sister organization to SEIU. SEIU has given one Mr. Gaspard to the White House as political director (Karl Rove's old job) and is credited for writing one of a handful of health care reform bills.

Welfare Reform Now took Cloward and Piven's strategy to heart: the goal was to bombard the welfare system with so many demands for welfare services that it would bankrupt the government and require radical and top-to-bottom change in government services. Obama's initiatives and statements made by the people he has appointed lend credence to the charge that he is following Cloward and Piven's strategy to bankrupt the system in order to bring about huge and permanent changes. Crazy? You tell me.

Not a bit crazy, Ohio, not a bit.

I believe I was saying that before Glenn Beck picked up on it but I wasn't referring to or even knew about Cloward and Piven's philosophy.

Way back after 9-11 .... I stated something to the effect that the Muslim fanatics know they can not attack and conquer the US so their only hope is to infiltrate the US and take it over from the inside out. And their demands for special concessions and new Laws because of their Religious beliefs is in effect “Creeping Islam” or “Creeping Mohammedism”.

And because of all the lefty liberal Socialist minded support for them, it has been easy for them to slip their “wants” in under the RADAR. And then along came Obama and his Muslim based childhood, Preacher Wright and his hate of whites, the blacks wanting reparation and free everything, Members of Congress focusing on making themselves richer, retaining their power and CTA in the process, etc., etc., Obama and his merry band of Socialist Czars have been hurriedly expediting said “Creeping Mohammedism” by the planned bankrupting of the US which will produce the same “climate” that permitted Hitler to take total control of the German Republic.

Troubling times are a coming, Ohio, …….. Troubling Times are a coming. lol!

So what Republicans are right in there with the Democrats?

The preceeding 8 years saw the largest expansion of the Federal Government ever. That was under a republican president and for the most part a republican congress. There is little doubt in my mind that if the republicans had not been handed the rejection the public handed them they would be dancing for joy in the streets in support of the healthcare act. Additionally, remember when McCain came running back fromt he compaign trail to vote in favor of the TARP act.

I have written Capito a number of times regarding the healthcare reform act. Each time she writes me back and tells me reform is needed, but she never says what she has in mind. I wrote her and ask her to support and become a sponser of the "Read the Bills Act". To this day I have no idea what she said in her reply. It was nothing but political gibberish.

You believe a small percentage of liberals want to take the nations toward socialism. I believe that the majority of congress is leftist leaning and would be willing to take this nation to the left. In fact, I believe that is the only purpose many in congress see as their cause. I believe the fact the healthcare bill has not died and the fact we have TARP and the nonworking stimulus package is a good example of where the whole of congress stands.
