Re: Limbaugh & Robertson: "I wish you to hell"
The Haitians made the earthquake?
There are these things called tectonic plates. When they move against each other, great amounts of energy build up - energy that will need to be released...
People that say "god did that..." should open a science book.

Who made the tectonic plates? If you do open a science book, make certain that it does not quote any scientist from East Anglia University or any of its mind-numb robot consensus pseudo-scientists.

Re: Limbaugh & Robertson: "I wish you to hell"
TerryRC,
Where did those tectonic plates come from? Where do matter and energy come from? Have they always existed?
Your science books neither prove nor disprove God or His ability to interfere with matters on earth. The fact that we could not see the Haitian or Chilean earthquakes coming is an indication that our "science" doesn't have it all figured out.

No credible scientist nor other credible "authority", including theological "authority", has it all figured out. That there are unanswered questions simply means that there is more to strive to learn.
I agree with you that, "But for Christians there is not this easy out." If it were that easy, the process would be patented or copyrighted, and sold on some monopoly market.
But, come to think of it ....................................

OK. Where did they come from?
Your science books neither prove nor disprove God or His ability to interfere with matters on earth.
And while we are at it, where did God come from?

ziggy And while we are at it, where did God come from?
Well, it was East Anglia University.

The earth was molten. As it cooled, crusts formed on the molten materiel...

You are wrong. People saw BOTH of them coming.
Anyway, Occam's razor.
No. They do not disprove god. They do offer NATURAL explanations without having to bring in a magic, inexplicable, all-powerful deity, though.
