Saudi beats wife for cooking all the chicken. (SUPPLIED) A Saudi woman was admitted to hospital with injuries after she was beaten up by her husband for cooking all the chicken, a local newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The Saudi man, described by his wife as “very tight”, attacked her at their house in the eastern town of Dammam after he noticed she cooked the whole chicken for Iftar (Ramadan evening meal), Kabar Arabic language online paper said.

The paper quoted the wife as saying she cooked the whole chicken to feed her four children and her sister, who wanted to come and share their iftar meal.

“He screamed at me and said this is a waste of money...he beat me up, then he took the chicken out of the house and had it all for himself,” she said.
