I don't get why the NYT seems to feel what they've done here is of any value to anyone. I agree with Steph that it is no longer relevant, but I wonder if they aren't just phoning it in to their liberal readers who frankly don't care who the Republican candidate is, and therefore will not question whether Romney is insider/outsider, or moderate/conservative. They know about as much of conservatism as I know of ancient sanskrit.

In a world where we have 24 hour news channels with some of the most preposterous garbage on-CNN America This Morning is interveiwing the kid dressed as Darth Vader from the Volkswagon commercial-most people don't bother to do any research on any subject. It's really sad.
