I don't know. I heard he is the Un-Kim Jong.

Hopefully your info will prove right and mine wrong. Though it could be really bad if the military takes the upper hand. Which I think under Kim they were at least under control.

I see no cause for optimism here. Despots can, if nothing else, keep under control (and within borders or nearby) problems that are horrible for the population of the country but leave outsiders unharmed.

I certainly would like to see the new regime at least accept the food that was being offered. The suffering of so many starving to death must make the angels cry. But until the new ruling power consolidates and takes the reins I don't think we will see any kind of negotiations going forward.
