John Edwards IS pathetic.

Edwards gives long-awaited endorsement to Obama By CHUCK BABINGTON, Associated Press Writer

DEARBORN, Mich. - Democrat John Edwards has given his long-awaited endorsement to Barack Obama. It's a major boost from a former presidential rival as Obama tries to shrug off Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is determined to press ahead.

Edwards was to appear with Obama in Grand Rapids, Mich., as Obama campaigns in a critical general election battleground.

The endorsement comes the day after Clinton defeated Obama by more than 2-to-1 in West Virginia. The loss highlighted Obama's work to win over the "Hillary Democrats" — white, working-class voters who also supported Edwards in large numbers before he exited the race.

Edwards, a former North Carolina senator and the 2004 vice presidential nominee, dropped out of the race in late January.

I think Edwards had been hoping to stay neutral until time to cast his superdelegate vote. He warned Hillary and she wouldn't listen. The idea was for her to win WV and gracefully exit with a win agree to some form of seating the MI and Fla delegates (which she says is important in principle) and then to have the Obama campaign help her pay her debts so she doesn't lose all that money. Unfortunately she didn't go for it. So Edwards came out for Obama I think hoping to aid him in Kentucky. I've only seen a small part of Kentucky. Do they have a lot of blue collar workers there? I thought the biggest "industry" and it's not really an industry was horse breeding and related activities. It seemed like a farming kind of state to me.

Edwards cares about no one but Edwards. Not the dempcratic party and certainly not America, at least not above his own selfish desires. In his pathetic mind, this makes him look good. The only reason he endorsed Obama is because he expects something from it. His kind always does.

I understand a Perm at the People's Hairstyling Salon will go down from 400 dollars to 300 dollars, in an effort to make perms more accessible for trial lawyers just starting out.

A John Edwards VP, though, I have to admit, would probably make Obama do better in states like WVA in the General Election. Maybe for all of Edwards' buffoonery, he might not be so politically incompetent.

As we are having fun with the poor doofus, I do want to reiterate that I wish the man well. I pray that his family life is healthy and that the plans that he has that are not evil would come to fruition. I wish him nothing but the best.

No, not at all. They couldn't find the votes to pass tort reform so they did the next best thing and elected him out of the state.

White Zin is the only wine I drink, and I have never voted for, or supported in any way, John Edwards. Zima I have never even tasted. Must be the Zima.

He would help Obama as VP. But he doesn't want it. The short list is Strickland, Bayh, Randell( please the Hillary people) Sebelius and Webb. My money's on Webb.
