obama abortion puzzler

Obama claims to oppose abortion for religious reasons. Not being a Catholic and having never voiced any personal objection to birth control, I have to imagine that Obama concedes at least to himself that abortion is the taking of a human life (or else he would not see it as a moral issue.

But if it's murder, how then should it be legal? And if it's not murder, then where's the moral issue?
