Great pick. I was terrified it would be Romney. While Obama's choice of Biden was a defensive, safe, trying-not-to-lose pick, Palin is a bold, going-for-the win move.

And of course, the Obama campaign, taking the bait, immediately questions her experience credentials. Is this really a debate they want to have? Pure genius.

All I have to say is this woman is the total package. She's everything you gents have mentioned and she's beautiful. Sarah Palin and I are the same age, I wish I looked even a quarter that good, and she JUST had a baby.

ok

maybe I don't like her so much after all! Suspect

I liked what the Obama campaign said.

The congratulated McCain for making such a pick, congratulated Palin for being nominated and the said it was a move made out of political desparation.

They as much said the only reason Palin was picked was because she was a woman. This from a campaign that says if you don't vote for Obama, you're a racist.

I am feeling better all the time.

With Palin on the ticket, I actually think the Republicans are putting someone up of great quality. I hope that political success does not ruin her integrity.

I also think that we are beginning to see Obama's campaign for what it is, an unethical propaganda campaign promising great things that neither they nor anyone else could possibly deliver. Did you hear all of his promises during his speech? You've got to be 'shrooming if you think that he or anyone else can not only create jobs but make them better paying as well. He can get Congress to make the minimum wage 15 bucks an hour but that doesn't mean that he can get companies to give people jobs.

If the American people are fooled by the Obama's campaign rhetoric, then we deserve an Obama presidency. Perhaps it is going to take a real disaster to remind Americans to pay better attention and that more critically.

I understand she's lived in Alaska since she was a small child and has a provincial accent.

Stephanie, I feel confident that you are a quarter as attractive as Sarah Palin. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Everyone (and by that I mean everyone on the radio so far except during Rush Limbaugh) seems to believe that Biden will crush Palin in a debate. I don't think that is the case whatsoever. She has stood up to her own party at the risk of her own political future; she can take Biden just fine.

And she's probably going to get the "frat boy" vote as well.

And the coveted Ziggy/Jackson County "eye gropers" demographic:)

Sarah Palin is easy enough to look at, no doubt. When she starts kicking a little ass, I think Ziggy will be all the more excited about that hug he's hoping to get it.

Meanwhile, our beloved Stephanie should not go about comparing herself to Alaskan Governors. She's done hooked herself a young'un several years her junior. That speaks for itself.

I continue to be convinced that Palin was a great choice (I thought so many moons ago and I'm both tickled and amazed that McCain was able to come up with this one). I am impressed and will be honored to have her as this nation's vice president. I also look forward to the so-called feminists tolerating a mountain of sexism out of their hatred for the pro-life cause. This campaign is likely to expose those "feminists" are political opportunists who favor abortion and care little more for the welfare of this nation's women.

I do hope she debates Biden, who as a 35 year Senator has taken at least 5 stances on every issue. There's a reason the last setting Senator elected was 1963 and part of that will be the same reason one is elected this year.

Joe Biden said his wife is "drop dead gorgeous" or something to that effect. I'm a girl and probably not the best judge of such things.

So I wanna know......who do you guys think is more attractive? Mrs. Biden, or Gov. Palin? lol

Jill Biden is a few years older and it shows but she's a very beatuiful woman, as is Sarah Palin.

Personally, I think the only way I could tell is if they were side by side.

I have a few thoughts in mind...

I'm not sure I'm the right guy to answer your question. I was for Sarah Palin before I knew what she looked like. Everything I've seen indicates she's a real conservative and not a neo-conservative. I'd like to think I'm not a partisan. I doubt I can make that case with any credibility. I'd like to see her anointed as the heir apparent.

I can oink it up like the rest of us, and I will say that Mrs. Sheik attracted the Sheik first by being a stunner. My family wondered what was wrong with her. When I told my grandmother that I was marrying the gal, she was incredulous.

But there is more to the world than physical beauty, and I can safely say that I would not want to spend more than 5 minutes (in any capacity) with a woman without character. There is something in particular about a woman who favors abortion rights that makes me have a very real reaction, no matter what she looks like. Maybe it's an "evolutionary" thing--the idea of someone killing my progeny is a real turn off.

My cousin the latte uber liberal is very good looking, and I feel very sorry for her husband besides (he too is gorgeous). They are very nice to me and I like them very much--I'm also glad I see them twice a year.
