McCain can't even get the support of the Chicago Tribune

On Nov. 4 we're going to elect a president to lead us through a perilous time and restore in us a common sense of national purpose.

The strongest candidate to do that is Sen. Barack Obama. The Tribune is proud to endorse him today for president of the United States....

...We are proud to add Barack Obama's name to Lincoln's in the list of people the Tribune has endorsed for president of the United States.

You may note that this is the first time that the Chicago Tribune has EVER endorsed a Democrat.[i]

A friend of mine worked for the Tribune for decades.

They have slashed their payroll and cut costs by making a grossly inferior product.

Even though they have always endorsed Republicans (up until now), my wife and I have never been fans. When someone called selling a subscription and would not take no for an answer, my wife replied "the next time I'm feeling mentally ill I'll be sure to subscribe" and then hung up.

For the past decade at least the Tribune has been a liberal shill. They have just now made it official.
