The Brits Do Have a Way With Words
'You have to pinch yourself - a Marxist radical who all his life has been mentored by, sat at the feet of, worshiped with, befriended, endorsed the philosophy of, funded and been in turn funded, politically promoted and supported by a nexus comprising black power anti-white racists, Jew-haters, revolutionary Marxists, unrepentant former terrorists and Chicago mobsters, is on the verge of becoming President of the United States.
And, apparently, it's considered impolite to say so.'

Wait a moment.
When I grab a reference from the UK, I get taken to task for it...

No, when you grab a reference cited by a source in the UK from a failed actor's weblog you get called on it.

It wasn't too long ago that I got bashed for citing articles from Reuters and the BBC.

BTW, Melanie Phillips is a reactionary blogger, also. She is unabashedly pro-Israel and has a history of making attacks based on unsubstantiated accusations.
Check it. (linky clicky)
I guess it isn't tripe when it comes from a right-winger.

I read British news sources on a daily basis. I would never bash anybody for utilizing foreign news sources, given that the American press is so blatantly biased and utterly uninterested in reporting fact or having balance.
Of course it's tripe.....it's about US politics. Isn't it all tripe nowadays?

What Phillips said could, at least for a while, be heard on FOX News on an almost daily basis.
Rush and Coulter have given similar rants.
You don't have to go to the UK to hear what Phillips is selling.

Re: The Brits Do Have a Way With Words
FOX news does air conservative viewpoints. It is because of this that it is less biased that the MSM. If you find it offensive, I would suggest changing the channel. Or, alternatively, you could begin the return of the Fairness Doctrine by complaining to the FCC...

How do you go from the fact that Steph didn't have to go to the UK to hear a rant like Phillips' to "Terry is whining about FOX"? I think the "fairness doctrine" is unconstitutional.
Good detective work, there, Ohio.
BTW, what is the "main stream media"? Didn't Campbell Brown ream Obama's infomercial on CNN?
I hear about the "leftist media" all of the time.
It is starting to become meaningless, like "activist judges".

Re: The Brits Do Have a Way With Words
Terry,
I really don't "do" Fox News any longer. I thought you knew that. Every now and again....I will allow myself a Shep fix. I find him extremely entertaining and miss him, but I pretty much stopped watching Fox when they refused to allow Ron Paul to participate in a debate.
I don't trust the US press. It's that simple.
btw.....If had had used Fox News as a source for that sort of comment, you'd have been on me like white on rice. Sorta like I jumped on you the day you used the Daily Kos as a source.

I use FOX news as a source and have cited them more than once, so you are dead wrong about that.
Now if you used NRO or FreeRepublic...
BTW, the article you attributed to the KOS wasn't written by them, just linked through them.
