I was appalled for a moment, then I thought about it.

1) It gets her out of the neighborhood for awhile.
2) It pretty much cashes her chances at a 2012 run for the Oval Office.
3) She will have to do what Obama says. Nice revenge for the way she went after him during the primaries.

Love him or hate him, this was a brilliant move.

I don't mind it.

You know, if she doesn't work out after a while he can get rid of her, and she won't have that lovely Senate seat any more. No matter what happens, if she makes it through the nomination process.....and I'd be stunned if she didn't, she will never be the new Ted Kennedy.

I this probably puts an end to her political career. Yes we'll be hearing from her and about her but we're stuck with hearing from and about her anyway.

I think she's on the ticket in 12 as the VP.

Obama will govern from the center, where all Presidents have to govern from, considering America is basically a consertative country.

If he tries to go to far to the left, it won't be the Republicans who shut him down, it will be those in his own party who reel him in.
