Chambliss credits Palin for G. Victory

Well old Saxby does not mince any words about who was responsible for his comfortable margin of victory.

So Sarah has picked up a big iou from Chambliss and Georgia republicans for 2012.

And Ga. will be huge because it is one of the solid South states of the old Confederacy which has become the base of the republican party.

Another interesting note: even Chambliss is puzzled as to why Obama did not come down and campaign for Martin.

Could it be he does not really want the 60 vote majority in the Senate?

So he can have a scapegoat?

I hate to think so but does anybody have an idea why he didnt come down to help Martin?

With Obama on the ballot in Georgia Saxby won with a 3% plurality. Without Obama on the ballot in Georgia Saxby won with a solid 12%. As PEOTUS he is above politics. But he has coattails.
