The administrator could look to see if there was a deleted post. However, if there was, all it would tell me is who deleted it and when.
Tell me, bm.......you've expressed no stance on the topic....how do you feel about Israel bombing hospitals and UN relief buildings and schools in Gaza? What impact do you suppose all those bombs is having on the environment? Do you believe the Gospel According to Ohlmert? Did I spell his name correctly? It's late.......I should go to bed.

I think that there is plenty of blame there to go around. Personally, I couldn't live in the skin of either side.

Re: So, why are conservatives so liberal in their energy use?
bmd,
I agree (I suppose it was bound to happen) but I'm sure for different reasons, that I would not want to be on either side of this. Israel is not blameless. Like many evangelicals I believe that Israel has a special place in God's heart; however, that does not mean that everything they do is just. I also believe that if God has a plan for Israel, it can well be accomplished without the help of the United States. Those of us who want to assist Israel should write our own checks and send them over without insisting that others do so through their taxes.
I also disagree with the idea that somehow Hamas is blameless or just "venting frustration" when they hurl rockets into southern Israel. It especially bothers me when they put soldiers or rockets near schools and then everyone goes nuts whenever said school (or hospital or what have you) is destroyed.
What bothers me is that both sides seem to have this view that the other is supremely evil. I would say that both sides have legitimate concerns and the best compromise is when everyone goes away with less than they wanted. I don't see that happening here.
