Letter from AIG Executive Empty Letter from AIG Executive

I was asked to work for an annual salary of $1, and I agreed out of a sense of duty to the company and to the public officials who have come to its aid. Having now been let down by both, I can no longer justify spending 10, 12, 14 hours a day away from my family for the benefit of those who have let me down.

The only real motivation that anyone at A.I.G.-F.P. now has is fear. Mr. Cuomo has threatened to “name and shame,” and his counterpart in Connecticut, Richard Blumenthal, has made similar threats — even though attorneys general are supposed to stand for due process, to conduct trials in courts and not the press.

You may remember that it was Eliot Spitzer, the ladies' man and former N.Y. Atty General - in fact, the poster boy for activist Attorneys General - who persecuted Maurice "Hank" Greenberg, the founder and former CEO of AIG. You have to wonder if Hank were still there, would AIG be in this mess?

Cavuto had Greenberg as a guest on his show and that was discussed and Greenberg stated all those "policies" were put into effect after he left.

Would Jake DeSantis be in this mess if not for the government bailout? That is the problem.

Looking for a big bonus for doing nothing?

Get a job in a democrat White House!

Of course, they're outraged at the AIG bonuses - they didn't get some of them.

Don't you worry about a thing, Jim. I'm sure Rahm & all the other criminals posing as public servants are very busy working on how to cash in on their "service" in the Obama administration. I'm sure they'll get their cohorts (Frank, Dodd, Waters, etc.) over in Congress to help them along their merry way.

It likely won't happen for a very long time but at some point in time, the people will recognize the Obama admistration for their hypocritical actions, especially regarding AIG.
