I don't know why but..........my 31 y/o husband gets mail from the AARP. I love that!

I guess I’m getting up there in years as I'm now a grandpa and one of the things I've noticed is that bullshit and whining are two of the things that seem to irritate me more then they used to.

I'm wondering if that's common with aging. Have you had anything similar as you've aged Stephanie?

Oh, I have aged. I wish I were doing so with more grace and less aches.

I think I have less patience. I no longer enjoy preschool aged children, but I still love babies and toddlers.

I no longer care how other people live their lives, provided they aren't hurting others. I'm a whole lot less interested in acquiring things, and a whole lot more interested in cultivating relationships.

Interestingly enough, I'm less concerned about security and more concerned with liberty. I think that probably has more to do with the direction our nation is going in than the years I've spent on the planet.

And here I thought I would get at least a bit of a rise out of my elder...



I do like what you said as I agree wholeheartedly. Although when the granddaughter came by earlier, it was easy to hand her to her Daddy when she started crying.
