Ya gotta agree with Karl on this.

West Virginia spends about $11,500 per student per year. That is 10 percent higher than the national average, but the per capita income in West Virginia is 24 percent below the national average. Yet gullible taxpayers keep approving bond levies and pouring money into the public school boondoggle bonfire. If a free market were allowed in education, the pathetic percentages would become pleasing.
