Re: Intent on shattering the 'imaginary' Glass Ceiling
I wonder why Sports Writers, Announcers, etc, ...... don't subscribe to a Poll Takeing Service ........ so that they can be scientifically accurate in predicting the winners of next weekend's games?
Besides, I would like to know right now who was going to win the 2011 or is it the 2012, ...... anyway, the next Super Bowl?
The ................ Super Bowl Poll, ................ sounds kinda ketchy, don't it?

Sam, you should really educate yourself on what you speak of as sports "polling" is a billion dollar industry with cities built on it and entire television networks devoted to nothing else.

Iowa is ONE state. You're not suggesting voters in other states should have no say in who the nominee will ultimately be, are you?
While it didn't work out well for Huckabee, it launched an obsecure candidate, an afterthought to the front of the pack and to the Presidency. Had Obama lost Iowa, he likely would have ran out of money and never made it to Super Tuesday. Iowa is by no means as irrelevant as your post imply it is.
The Iowa Democratic Presidential Caucus occurred on January 3, 2008, and was the state caucuses of the Iowa Democratic Party in . It was the first election for the Democrats of the 2008 presidential election. Also referred to as "the First in the Nation Caucus," it was the first election of the primary season on both the Democratic and Republican sides. Of the eight major Democratic presidential candidates, then-U.S. Senator Barack Obama of Illinois received the most votes and was ultimately declared the winner of the Iowa Democratic Caucus of 2008, making him the first African American to win the caucus.[1] Former U.S. Senator John Edwards of North Carolina came in second place and then-U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York finished third, though Clinton received more delegates than Edwards. Campaigning had begun as early as two years before the event.
