Well it looks like the Democrats are much more enthusiastic, as evidenced by the early voter turnout.
Voters in some areas are standing in line up to 4 hrs. to make sure they are able to cast their ballot.
Mindful of the past two elections when there were allegations of improprieties and impediments to people being able to vote in heavily Democratic areas.
So far the turnout favors Democrats over 2.5 to 1, with the Black vote especially heavy.
Hopefully they are voting a straight ticket and will carry some new Dems into Congress.

Re: Early voting heavy and Democrat...
Judging from the last two elections there will no doubt be organized voter suppression efforts.
Especially on election day.
So Democrats, especially in minority populated areas, should take advantage of early voting.
That way, even if they are able to suppress your vote you still have a chance to come back and vote before election day.

But isn't the democratic motto "Vote early, Vote often?
If they wait, how can they come back next week with another voters card?
