Re: Same-Sex 'Marriage' and Religious Liberty
Aaron likens himself to anyone who doesn't take crap, speaks their mind, and stands up for what is right and someone says or does something that is as wrong as what TR said here.
If TR's mother is like that, then yes, Aaron likens himself to her and doesn't have a problem in the least with it.
I realize that is all foreign to you but to most people, have convictions is a good thing.

Re: Same-Sex 'Marriage' and Religious Liberty
And just so you know, your response above is that of a little kid who got smacked down in front of his friends by his mother.
No. It is the response of someone tired of personal attacks. Look at Sam's last ten posts directed at me. Half of them contain no argument pertinent to the discussion - just insults.
If he were to dare to say those things to my face, I'd remove his teeth.
The cussing was to call attention to this fact. Didn't expect you "free speech" types to make me the villain.
Oh, well. I have a "tendancy" to speak my mind, also, and devil count the cost.

So saying FUCK is wrong in little Aaron's eyes? What a sin! Must be great to be so self-righteous. I'll bet you sleep like a baby, knowing that you are a defender of the "moral conscience" of this country.
Holy hubris, Batman.

Double post?
I was responding to two separate posts, separately, in the order I read them.
Should I have combined them into one?
You are really reaching to find fault, here.

Re: Same-Sex 'Marriage' and Religious Liberty
Touche. I've done the same.
It's the holier then thou attitude of the second that I labeled as the tantrum.
And no, saying F*** is not wrong, it's the tone or manner in which it was said.
I just went back and re-read the entire conversation and I stand by what I said earlier. You're comment is still out of line. As is the 'remove his teeth comment'.
As I said to Hacker, Sam's Sam and he's not changed in the 3 years I've been communicating with him. You know that and you could choose to ignore him and not comment but you don't.
You give as much as he does on the personal insults until he gets the better of you, then you say something like you did and that's what I responded to.
And it wasn't because Sam needed defending, it was because you're acting like a 14 year old and it's really kind of nauseating.
And now you're playing the victim game. Personally, I think it's time to grow up but if you want to keep acting like a character off 90210, have at it RC.

Hell, I can do that myself quite easily. I do that 3 or 4 times per day, ya know.
But it is my 6' 2", 232 lb torso you might have a problem removing from where you don't want it.
So ya better bring your dogs with you because I don't take kindly to anyone intent on puttin a hurtin on me. You'd hafta be sneaking up to be doing that.

Little Aaron's failed attempt at motherhood aside, you are usually a better poster than this, Terry.

Are you saying that it is only mothers stand for convictions and say what is right Ziggy?
Or are you just too darned proud to admit that Aaron was right and RC was out of line?

No, I'm not.
I'm pointing out that you will get on me for a cuss word and let Sam insult people in ruthless and impersonal ways, driving away posters that actually want some real discussion.
I was trying to make a point with my vulgarity.
It appears to have been a wasted effort.

Why, ziggy? Because it is true? Sam is an internet "tough guy". He knows he can say ANYTHING without fear of repercussions. Would ANY of you talk like that to a person's face in person?
You know you wouldn't.
But it is my 6' 2", 232 lb torso you might have a problem removing from where you don't want it.
You have an inch and 55 lbs. on me. I probably am 15 years younger, at least, have some hand to hand training and have stayed in shape.
You have drank beer and smoked lots of cigarettes.
Even if you aren't a 155 pound nerd, somehow I'm not afraid.
If we ever meet, we'll see if you are as brave with your mouth in person.
Whatever.
Every time Sam makes an insulting post with no comment, I'm going to keep bouncing it to the top of the thread.
That way we can all revel in Sam's insightful posts. Or would that be "pitching a fit"?
I'm starting to think that some of you don't actually want real debate.

Alright nobody is going to kick anybody's ass but me.
Cut the crap guys. This is supposed to be somewhat pleasurable. I've met you both in person and I'm certain you'd beat each other to a bloody pulp, but that would be just plain stupid. Neither of you is stupid.

I've never met any of you, but I'm quite sure any one of you could beat me senseless.
There, can that assuage your egos?

I'm not much on confrontation, which is not the best quality to have when you supervise wayward youth performing court ordered community service.

"Tune in tomorrow, for I want you to learn how you can help protect both our religious rights and marriage itself. I know this may sound alarmist, but it’s true. If we don’t work to stop this juggernaut, we may soon find ourselves hunted down at work, at school, and even at church—as others have been—by those determined to force us to accept as a moral good what God calls evil."

Did you ever think that just maybe people are sick and tired of having perversion shoved down their throat by a government now control by some of the most pathetic unethical, immoral people on the face of the earth.
Even the Russians are laughing at us.
From Pravda:
"So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive. The people I know are happy to be living in America, but, wait... you must be spearking of Iraq or maybe Iran, China, Afghanistan or even RUSSIA, where human beings are dying every day for the FREEDOMS we honor and love. The ones my great grandfathers died for in the Revolutionary War.
You have the right to rant and rave, so feel free....

The Hackiot opinied "You have the right to rant and rave, so feel free.."
I presume you have not heard of "Hate Speach Laws"? These are laws that silence any speach considered hateful or that may incite violence against another because of race, religion, or what ever. This law, a direct violation of the first amendment right to free speach, by the way, can and is used by queer groups as well as racist blacks, and other degenerate groups to silence critizism.
As I said the Russians are laughing at ding dongs like you, who proclaim your freedom and yet sell yourselves to the slavery of government control. Frankly you make me sick.
