What is the reason for the mutual affinity for lawyers and democrats? I don't see a lot of reason to continue to beat up on John Edwards but isn't it odd that a multi-millionaire lawyer would run a populist campaign? What's the connection? Is it just a coincidence or is this a left-over remnant from the FDR coalition?
