Life on Mars? Empty Life on Mars?

How do we know that any life on Mars is not the result of microbial contamination from our earlier probes? (How could life survive the rigors of space travel from Earth to Mars? I don't know. Ask the guys that think life came to Earth from Mars on meteors that landed in Antarctica.)

Maybe it is just too hot on Mars for life to exist.

I mean like with all that percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere it must be experiencing Global Heating.

However, the scale height of the atmosphere is about 11 km, somewhat higher than Earth's 6 km. The atmosphere on Mars consists of 95% carbon dioxide, 3% nitrogen, 1.6% argon, and contains traces of oxygen, water, and methane

Sam,
If they find water--or ice--they will declare that they found life on Mars again! (They already claim to have found fossilized bacteria from Mars in Antarctica!!)

Well "DUH", with that percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere (95%) there shouldn't be any ice.

Do you not believe in Al Gore's ...... atmospheric CO2 caused Global Warming scheme?
