Loyd's been sick so I haven't left the house since Monday night. On Monday night gas was $2.99 a gallon at the lowest priced stations I saw. It's what I paid. I spoke to my mother today and she told me in RI, (Governor Carcieri-R) gas was $2.65. In my lifetime, RI has never had a tax of food or clothing. While the General Assembly has been largely controlled by Democrats, Republicans have controlled the Governor's office for at least 30 of those years.
