Clinton: 'The rich are not paying their fair share'
Politico ^ | 5-27-2010 | Ben Smith

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made a rare foray into domestic politics today, offering her view that — given America's high unemployment — wealthy Americans don't pay enough taxes.

"The rich are not paying their fair share in any nation that is facing the kind of employment issues [America currently does] — whether it's individual, corporate or whatever [form of] taxation forms,"

Why doesn't she just lead the way and voluntarily pay double the taxes this year?

Guess Who Else Hearts Brazil?
www.joytiz.com ^ | 5/28/10 | Joy Tiz

Hillary Clinton has lauded the Brazilian economy as “growing like crazy” as a result of high taxation. The Secretary of State is suddenly bleating about the brutal unfairness inherent in not forcing Americans fork over even more of their income to the all mighty government. Clinton:

"Brazil has the highest tax-to-GDP rate in the Western Hemisphere and guess what – they’re growing like crazy."

The American Thinker reminds us that Clintonian “facts” are chimerical things:

"But, as with any ‘fact’ a Clinton or an Obama apparatchik cites, you need to look it up for yourself. Which I did. Brazil’s GDP grew 2.0% in the last quarter. The average rates for 2007, 2008 and 2009 were 1.61%, 0.39% and 0.96%, respectively."

"For those who may be wondering, our own GDP growth in the last quarter was 3.00%. But I digress. The point is: Either (1) Hillary didn’t know Brazil’s actual growth rate; (2) she did know, but lied about it or (3) she knew and considers 3.00% GDP growth “growing like crazy.” Pick any one, two, or – this is the Obama administration, after all - all three."
Coincidentally, the Puppet Master himself– unrepentant Nazi collaborator, George Soros has gone sweet on Brazil too:

Why don't you go to Brazil, TerryRC? Take Hildagard and Soros with you. Or, why don't the folks on the right study to become firefighters, teachers, or medical professionals?

Why don't you go, Keli?

Not enough religion in the government? Perhaps you would like Saudi Arabia, then.

Mrs. Clinton is certainly very wealthy. You know, there is nothing prohibiting her from making a voluntary contribution to the Treasury Department. I strongly urge her to do that very thing.

What's more, there has never been anything preventing the Democrats controlling both the Legislative and Executive branches from changing the tax code to eliminate the loop holes those hedge fund managers are utilizing.
