The Obama Comedy, everyone getting into the act.
Can you believe this?
Mexico Joins Suit Against Arizona's Immigration Law, Citing 'Grave Concerns'
Mexico on Tuesday asked a federal court in Arizona to declare the state's new immigration law unconstitutional, arguing that the country's own interests and its citizens' rights are at stake.
Lawyers for Mexico on Tuesday submitted a legal brief in support of one of five lawsuits challenging the law. The law will take effect July 29 unless implementation is blocked by a court.
Mexican law, however, requires law enforcement officials "to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country before attending to any issues."

Interesting comparison of law isn't it Sam. Consider that the Arizona law is a copy of the Federal Law that has been in effect for years and yet our own attorney general Eric Holder plans to contest the Arizona law in court. Then on top of that here comes the Peoples Republic of Mexico whining and moaning about our law when theirs is far more stringent.

This what the Republicans would do if they had any cajones at all.
They would print the Mexican immigration law verbatim (changing only "Mexico" to the "United States" and like necessary changes of place names) and introduce it in the House of Reps.

Re: The Obama Comedy, everyone getting into the act.
Arizona has passed a total of four laws in recent years aiming to lessen the effects of illegal immigrants on their economy. Three of them (the fourth is only rumored) have been ruled upon in Arizona's favor. In the law that penalized employers of illegal aliens, Janet Napolitano, then governor of Arizona was a formal respondent in the suit. She wholeheartedly supported the state's position.
Now, as a member of the Obama administration, she has inexplicably changed her tune. Hey, I guess anybody has the right to change his mind...

I watched the video on Fox of her making that statement.

No Cato does not say the Mexican law is already federal law.

Cato said the Arizona law is a copy of the United States Federal Law and he's correct.
Regarding the Mexican law, they saying to print it verbatim and impose that same standard on Mexican's entering America. That seems fair to me, what about you???
