Re: Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian
Are not "seasons" repetitive (see 3:1)?
Now "I do" is surely not a repetitive statement in the eyes of the dazzling Mrs Sheik, but if I told her I'd be out for a "time," she surely would not imagine that would be the last time I'd ever leave the house.

Well "Yes", in your above question they are, ..... because your inclusion of an "s" as the suffix make it plural, ..... or per say repetitive. Are not "seasons" repetitive (see 3:1)?
Now Professor SheikBen, you know just as well as I do that “a time” is in the singularity, ….. whereas “times” is in the plurality.
Anyway, I've cooled down a wee bit, ........ probably because the rain has moved back in, ...... so I will try to refrain from being so "picky-picky" whenever the content/context of the various postings contain highly questionable "intentions" or "content".
One's argument should stand on "its own merit" ...... of what one actually knows, thinks or believes ...... and not on false assertions, implications or accusations about what their opponent might think, believe, do, did or does. Doing said immediately renders their argument ...... morally bankrupt, null and void ..... even if it does garner a lot of cheers and high-5's from their like minded friends, etc. ... who hafta be awful naieve or morally bankrupt themselves.

Sam,
We are in the season of Spring. It is "a" cloudy day. This is "a" time for a good cup of coffee and a trip to church. I tell my some there is "a" time for goofing off, and it is not shouting "I am bumbleeman, and I have a gun" while the elder is praying.

Michael, I commend you for your oftentimes thankless role of "peacemaker" and "voice of reasoning".
