Plan to Restore America
RON PAUL “PLAN TO RESTORE AMERICA”
SYNOPSIS:
America is the greatest nation in human history. Our respect for individual liberty, free markets, and limited constitutional government produced the strongest, most prosperous country in the world. But, we have drifted far from our founding principles, and America is in crisis. Ron Paul’s “Restore America” plan slams on the brakes and puts America on a return to constitutional government. It is bold but achievable. Through the bully pulpit of the presidency, the power of the Veto, and, most importantly, the united voice of freedom-loving Americans, we can implement fundamental reforms.
DELIVERS A TRUE BALANCED BUDGET IN YEAR THREE OF DR. PAUL’S PRESIDENCY:
Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who doesn’t just talk about balancing the budget, but who has a full plan to get it done.
SPENDING:
Cuts $1 trillion in spending during the first year of Ron Paul’s presidency, eliminating five cabinet departments (Energy, HUD, Commerce, Interior, and Education), abolishing the Transportation Security Administration and returning responsibility for security to private property owners, abolishing corporate subsidies, stopping foreign aid, ending foreign wars, and returning most other spending to 2006 levels.
ENTITLEMENTS:
Honors our promise to our seniors and veterans, while allowing young workers to opt out. Block grants Medicaid and other welfare programs to allow States the flexibility and ingenuity they need to solve their own unique problems without harming those currently relying on the programs.
CUTTING GOVERNMENT WASTE:
Makes a 10% reduction in the federal workforce, slashes Congressional pay and perks, and curbs excessive federal travel. To stand with the American People, President Paul will take a salary of $39,336, approximately equal to the median personal income of the American worker.
TAXES:
Lowers the corporate tax rate to 15%, making America competitive in the global market. Allows American companies to repatriate capital without additional taxation, spurring trillions in new investment. Extends all Bush tax cuts. Abolishes the Death Tax. Ends taxes on personal savings, allowing families to build a nest egg.
REGULATION:
Repeals ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank, and Sarbanes-Oxley. Mandates REINS-style requirements for thorough congressional review and authorization before implementing any new regulations issued by bureaucrats. President Paul will also cancel all onerous regulations previously issued by Executive Order.
MONETARY POLICY:
Conducts a full audit of the Federal Reserve and implements competing currency legislation to
strengthen the dollar and stabilize inflation.
CONCLUSION:
Dr. Paul is the only candidate with a plan to cut spending and truly balance the budget. This is the only plan that will deliver what America needs in these difficult times: Major regulatory relief, large spending cuts, sound monetary policy, and a balanced budget.

Re: Plan to Restore America
The good news is that American debt is not (according to a new study) unsustainable. If the Chinese plutocrats and Saudi princes, along with the rest of the world, will just commit 19% of their GDP by 2020 we can get through this.
Not likely to happen? I think not. You can laugh at Ron Paul but he alone has put forth a plan to reduce the burgeoning federal leviathan and address our monumental debt load. Don't like his foreign policy? So what? If we don't reduce the size of the government and pay off our debt there won't be a need for foreign policy.
Abolish the Department of Education? Horrors! Education employment since 1970 has grown ten (10) times faster than enrollment. The Department of Energy? They have us on the hook for hundreds of millions for jobs going to Finland (electric cars) and China. What has the Department of Education done for our education system? Our students are falling behind. Has the Department of Energy made us energy self-reliant? No and they will not. These departments are money pits. Pure and simple.
Ron Paul is not a polished speaker. He doesn't have pretty hair. He has a plan to return us to the Constitution and get our house in order. I still like him.

Re: Plan to Restore America
Ron Paul reminds me of this man:
Ecclesiastes 9:14 There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: 15 Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man. 16 Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

You should be telling Ron Paul stuff like that in repeated E-mail postings ...... instead of just the limited viewers of this forum.

Re: Plan to Restore America
I saw a guy today who claimed his daughter dyed his hair. What was he - in a coma? Brown makes your hair orange. Black makes it blue. I think the only reason the Good Lord let me keep my hair is because I don't care what it looks like.

Re: Plan to Restore America
I've always tried to follow Jim Comstock's advice and strive to decorate the inside of my head...
My brother George personally knew and often conversed with Jim Comstock and was also a great appreciator of Jim’s literary expertise, …… but I never met the man. I loved his “Ma and Pa” articles though, really great “common sense” hillbilly humor.
And Jim, in reference to your picture and your statement of …… ” I'm looking every one of my sixty years...” …….. even Red Green might have mistakenly assumed you were talking about your gray hair ……. and not your eyes.
Gray or graying hair usually or most always gives the observer the impression that the person is 60 years old or older, knowledgeable, experienced, credible, more often truthful than not …… and thus worthy of paying attention to what they have to say and accepting it as a truth or a gospel fact. And I am pretty sure, via your personal experiences that you will most probably agree with that assessment.
And I can attest to the truth and factuality of that assessment because the majority of people I try to offer advice, facts or truths …. do not think I am old or mature enough to be knowledgeable, experienced or credible and probably not very truthful (especially past posters on this forum), ….. thus discrediting my commentary as pure and simple unbelievable BS ………. and all because of the fact that my non-totally gray hair, as you can see in the following pic, …. does not divulge my 71 years of “decorating” the inside of my head with things of importance.
