Intelligence and law enforcement sources tell ABC News they are expecting al Qaeda operatives will post a new video on the Internet in the next 24 hours, calling for what one source said is "jihadists to use biological, chemical and nuclear weapons to attack the West."

"There have been several reports that al Qaeda will release a new message calling for the use of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) against civilians," FBI spokesman Richard Kolko told ABC News in an e-mail.

"Although there have been similar messages in the past, the FBI and [Department of Homeland Security] have no intelligence of any specific plot or indication of a threat to the U.S.," the e-mail said. "The FBI and U.S. intelligence community will review the message for any intelligence value."

While there is no evidence of any direct threat, the FBI sent a bulletin to 18,000 law enforcement agencies across the country, out of an abundance of caution.

No, the government should invade the privacy of every law-abiding American and further erode our civil liberties. We should also expel all Muslims, anyone of Arab decent, and bomb, bomb, bomb Iran now that we've invaded Iraq. Like that plan?

Man, we've been in Iraq for more than 5 years since the mission was declared accomplished. Do you mean to tell us that Al Qaeda is still out there rootin' around somewhere? And McCain said only yesterday that we are "winning" in Iraq. So is the theory that we have been fighting Al Qeada in Iraq so we don't have to fight them here full of holes?

That sounds about as stupid as ignoring Al Qeada completely. Shirley there has to be some middle ground somewhere, doesn't there!!!

Yes and ricin is made from castor beans. So ordinary citizens with internet or library access can manufacture and release "WMD's"

Hey, it was GWB, not Ziggy, who got us into this mess in Iraq. So it is his job, not Ziggy's, to get us out of it.

Who said anything about anyone getting us out? We were talking about Frank's lack of knowledge on the ongoing war in Iraq and how Franks opinion is biased and based on anti-war rhetoric and that why Frank is spouting the tripe he is.

Just so you know though, Al Qaeda is made up of the Sunni section of Islam. The al Malki government and the Mahdi Army are both Shia. The simple fact that each sect is combating insurgent factions within their own sect is ground breaking.

That coupled with the fact that it is now the Iraqi Army taking the point and doing the fighting and not American soldiers means that, yes, the war is turning.

About the only thing that can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory are those that have a vested interest in American losing in Iraq; democrats and peaceniks.

If he was correct, why are we still there? Haven't displaced enough civilians yet? Haven't we manufactured enough suicide bombers yet? Perhaps we haven't killed enough Iraqis yet.

What was the mission?

I'm not saying Bush was right. He was wrong going in, he was wrong in allowing Rumsfield to run this war, he was wrong in the number of troops initially sent in, he was wrong in taking out the entire Iraqi military and all civil employees and he was wrong in declaring 'mission accomplished'.

But if you look back, the mission that we went in for WAS accomplished.

What wasn't accomplished was how it was managed AFTER the mission was accomplished. That resulted in the uprising of insurgents and that is what has led to the past 5 years of conflict.

But Bush finally got a little sense when he bowed to political pressure and got rid of Rumsfield, put Robert Gates in as the SecDef and started listening to Gen. Petraeus.

Like it or not, the tide is turning. It is Iraqi Sunni's that are combating Al Qeada. It is the Shiite led Iraqi military that is combating the Mahdi Army in Sadr City and Basra. Those are giant steps but those with a vested interest in America NOT being successful in Iraq CAN'T see that. It doesn't serve their agenda.

What got us in Iraq and led to the displacement of civilians and increase of sucide bombers was a political agenda taking precedence OVER military decision makers. Had GWB followed the Powell Doctrine instead of listening to civilians, we wouldn't be where we are now.

That was criticized before but now that there are successes in Iraq, those with a vested interest want the United States to return that that type of decision making policies.

I think that would be a huge mistake that will lead to the United States being BACK in Iraq/Iran in 10 to 15 years. Do you really think that's a wise decision?

I've told you numerous times what I believe America should do in Iraq. LEAVE NOW!

Look, the Iraqis are having all this tremendous success, they don't even need us so much any more. We can't afford to be there.

If the mission we went there for was accomplished, we should leave. This isn't worth another American life, or limb, or shattered mind.

You also believed at one time that we should go into Iraq.

IF we were going to become an isolationist country that could totally supply all of our energy needs and didn't have vital interest in that area, then I would probably agree with you this time.

As we're not going to become an isolationist country and we can't supply 100% of our energy needs and we need at least some stability in that region, I don't.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this.
