Re: Strange Death of West Virginia Republicans
Palin in 2012 is a much better idea than Obama in 2008 is proving to be. While I do not generally advocate voting for the lesser of two evils, the left's rage at Palin makes me think she may be on to something.
The Democrats won in 2006 arguing for "change." Then things got worse. Then they won in 2008 arguing for "change."
I wonder how much more change we can tolerate.

Re: Strange Death of West Virginia Republicans
Karl Rove said that if Sarah Palin got a good handler too spend a few years teaching her, you would be a force to be reckoned with in the near future.
Apparently she's taken his advice to some extent as her recent trips have proven. She's staying in the national spot light without making the mistakes of John Edwards by camping out in Iowa.
And in a recent interview with Matt Lauer on Today, she more then held her own regarding the recent flare up over comments made by David Letterman.
Perhaps what scared the bejesus out of liberal like RC when McCain nominated her as his VP wasn't what she would do for the 08 campaign, but what she could potentially do for Republicans in the future.
And perhaps that is why the only people who dismiss a Palin ticket so casually are those with very little knowledge.

You guys are the ones so terrified of her that you practically foam at the mouth in your personal attacks. Why is that?

Re: Strange Death of West Virginia Republicans
Jokes, ie, VP candidates who are no longer relevant such as John Edwards, Joe Leiberman, Jack Kemp, Dan Quale and Lloyd Bentsen aren't the focal point of the opposing party and their all out character assult on not only them but their family nearly 8 months AFTER an election.
You're not fooling anyone. You guys are SCARED shirtless.

Re: Strange Death of West Virginia Republicans
Females have absolutely no right to be involved in politics, business, government or journalism if they are intelligent, good looking, extrovert, smart, caring, hardworking and/or not afraid to tell the truth no matter who it harms/hurts. Especially those females who “don’t know their place” when confronted by superior intellect ego minded males who know what’s best for everyone in the world. Such females should be forced to stay home behind closed doors and cow-towing to their spouse’s every whim, wham and demand.
Jesus, Sam.
Smart? Palin's whole shtick was being a "simple soccer mom" and a Washington outsider.
I see that you use Malkin and Coulter as your idea of "caring".
You obviously haven't heard them say things like "liberals are traitors and should be shot".
Doesn't sound caring to me.

In a way, you are right. I fear she will be the focal point for the division of the GOP.
We need a strong GOP to fight the democrats. She is a divider, not a uniter.
